I've probably tried five different types of eyeliners last year and had absolutely no success. It was to the point where I just gave up. However, last November I received The Marc Jacobs's Magic Marc'er as a sample with my Sephora order and was completely blown away. It's unlike any liner I've ever tried before.

Now this is a liquid eyeliner and it's probably not the best recommendation for beginners but if you're up for the challenge like I was I would definitely go for it. In my case liquid eye liner was just more easier to learn than any other eyeliner products. But one thing for sure no matter what eyeliner you use,  it definitely senses fear. So if you're not cool, calm and collected while doing it, prepare for the worse.
Getting back into this amazing eyeliner, I must say the finish is so beautiful, it reminds me of patent leather which is perfect for when you want to do a sleek look.  The shade is very pigmented and rich with the right amount of shine. What I also like is that the tip of the pen is very versatile in which you can draw both thin and thick precise lines. It's also has a felt tip which is perfect for those who don't have a steady hand like myself.



The MAGIC about this pen is that it literally last... FOREVER (Cardi B voice). When they say it's waterproof, they're not exaggerating. This liner does not smudge, fade or transfer and it last all day long. When I use this liner to go to work, at the end of the day when the rest of my makeup is oxidized, my liner is still in place.

PRO TIP: When applying liquid eyeliner the intention is to create a precise line usually involving a wing. You will never be able to do so with just one swoop. You want to make sure you start with small strokes along the lash line and build up to the shape you desire. Once you've outlined your shape, you should be able to connect the dots and then go in for that final sweep which gives you a polished finish.

This definitely gets the HOLY GRAIL title because I was NEVER able to get a SHARP & DEFINED wing before using this. Trust me, when you do your eyeliner you want it to be SHARP! It's just so easy to use and the finish is absolutely makeup GOALS. I will say it is a bit on the pricey side but think of it as an investment. It's worth every single penny. If you ever struggled with using eyeliner, try this one and thank me later.
